Communications from School
In order to communicate effectively with parents and carers we use either email, SMS text messaging or via our parental portal, My Child At School and occasionally traditional letters are sent home. We also use ParentPay for trip communications.
Many of our email messages are sent out in bulk, and some email systems put these automatically into 'junk mail'. Each email system will have its own protocol for releasing 'junk mail' and it is imperative that parents and carers check their 'junk mail' regularly and if our emails are ending up there, they will need to release them to their inbox and then set our email addresses as a 'safe sender'.
The email addresses for our different systems will appear as follows:-
System | email address our messages are sent from | What do we use this for? |
My Child At School |
We also send SMS text messages from telephone number +447860054326. Please store this in your contacts as 'Plumstead Manor In Touch' |
Truancy calls, notifications about events and general information.
|
ParentPay | Platform@parentPay.com | Log-in details, (you must verify your account by clicking on an email link sent to you when setting up your account) School trip and journey payments, dinner money payments. |
It is also imperative that you keep your telephone and address details up to date too; so when you change mobile or move please do let us know so we can keep you informed about what is happening in school. This can be done by going to 'personal details' on My Child at School and editing your contact details.
